App: Fix My Speaker & Water Eject
Developer: Filqo Technologies
Effective date: August 11, 2026
Filqo Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Fix My Speaker & Water Eject mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, collects, uses, and shares, as well as the choices available to you.
In short: The App does not require an account. Speaker-cleaning tones are generated and played on your device. We do not record audio or use your microphone. App preferences remain on your device. Third-party advertising providers may collect device, usage, advertising, and diagnostic information as described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information stored locally on your device
The App may save the following information in its local storage:
- App settings and preferences, such as a selected cleaning mode, sound frequency, playback duration, volume-related settings, theme, and onboarding status.
- Basic local usage state, such as whether a tip, rating prompt, or notice has already been shown.
This information is used to operate the App and remember your choices. It is not uploaded to our servers and is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
1.2 Audio and speaker operation
The App generates and plays sound frequencies through your device's audio output to help eject water or clear debris from a speaker. This processing occurs on your device. The App does not record, store, or transmit ambient sound, and it does not require microphone access for this functionality.
1.3 Information collected by advertising providers
The App uses third-party advertising services, including Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Meta Audience Network. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and the providers' configurations, these services may automatically collect or receive:
- IP address, which may be used to infer an approximate location;
- Device and advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID or app set ID;
- App interactions, such as app launches, ad views, clicks, and other usage events;
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, language, app version, and network type; and
- Diagnostic and performance information, such as crash data, launch time, and ad-delivery errors.
These providers use this information to deliver and measure ads, perform analytics, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain their services. We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, or precise location from these advertising services.
1.4 Information we do not request
The App does not require account registration and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, precise location, or payment information. The App does not request access to your microphone or camera for its core features.
2. How Information Is Used
Information described in this policy is used to:
- Provide speaker-cleaning, water-ejection, tone playback, and related App features;
- Save your settings and preferences on your device;
- Display, personalize where permitted, and measure advertising;
- Monitor performance, diagnose problems, and improve reliability;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information may be shared or processed in these circumstances:
- Advertising and service providers: Google and Meta process the information described above to provide advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention services.
- Legal and safety reasons: Information may be disclosed if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfer: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
Depending on applicable privacy law, personalized advertising or the disclosure of identifiers to advertising providers may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. You can manage these uses through the choices described below.
4. Permissions and Device Access
The App may use the following permissions or device capabilities:
- Internet and network state: To load ads, measure ad performance, and maintain online service connectivity.
- Audio output and audio settings: To play speaker-cleaning tones and allow you to control playback. This does not provide access to microphone input.
- Foreground service, wake lock, or media playback: To keep user-initiated audio playback working reliably when supported by your device.
- Notifications: To display playback or service notifications on Android versions where this permission is required.
- Vibration: To provide optional touch feedback where supported.
You can manage App permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information is processed as necessary to provide the App, based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving it, to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. Where consent is used, you may withdraw it through the App's consent controls, if shown, or through your device's privacy and advertising settings.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local App data: Remains on your device until you clear the App's storage or uninstall it.
- Third-party data: Is retained by Google and Meta according to their own retention policies and your settings. We do not control their specific retention periods.
Because the App does not provide user accounts or maintain user profiles on our servers, there is no App account to delete. To delete locally stored App information, clear the App's storage or uninstall it. You may contact us about a privacy request using the email address below; we may need information sufficient to identify data associated with the request, and some SDK data may not be reasonably linkable to you by us.
7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
- Advertising choices: Use your device's privacy or advertising settings to reset or delete the Advertising ID and manage ad personalization.
- Consent choices: Where the App presents a consent message, use it to accept, reject, or manage available advertising choices.
- Local data: Clear the App's storage or uninstall the App to remove locally stored settings.
- Legal rights: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, or to withdraw consent. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To submit a request, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. Third-party providers state that they use safeguards such as encryption in transit. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Google and Meta may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, these providers use recognized legal mechanisms for international transfers as described in their privacy documentation.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Third-Party Privacy Policies
Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies:
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this location and update the effective date above. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
