Scan history and favorites – Stored only on your device. We do not upload your scan history, QR code content, or generated codes to our servers.
Scanner settings – Preferences (e.g. auto-copy, sound, vibration) are stored locally on your device.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device and app usage – Third-party advertising and analytics services (see Section 4) may collect device identifiers, IP address, and general usage data to show ads and measure performance. We do not sell your personal data.

2.3 Permissions We Use

Permission	Purpose
Camera	To scan QR codes and barcodes. Not used for anything else.
Internet	To load ads, check for app updates, and open links from scanned codes.
Network state	To optimize ad delivery and connectivity.
Vibration	Optional haptic feedback when a code is scanned.

We do not access your contacts, location, or personal files except when you explicitly use a feature (e.g. opening a link from a scanned QR code).

3. Local Data Storage

Scan history, favorites, and app settings are stored only on your device using the app's local storage.
Data is not synced to our servers or linked to your identity.
You can clear history and data via the app or by clearing the app's data in your device settings.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

4.1 Google Services

Google AdMob – Displays ads. Google may collect data as described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob policy.
Google Play – For app updates and in-app review. Subject to Google Play's policies.

4.2 Meta (Facebook) Audience Network

Audience Network – May be used to show ads. Meta may collect data as described in Meta's Data Policy.

We do not control what these providers collect. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

5. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Your name, email, or account details (unless you contact us by email).
The contents of QR codes or barcodes you scan (beyond temporary processing on your device to show results).
Precise location.
Contact list or other personal data from your device.

6. Data Security

Data stored on your device is protected by your device's security (e.g. lock screen, encryption).
We do not transmit your scan history or generated codes to our servers.
Communication with ad and update services uses standard secure protocols.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised, and we encourage you to check this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Opt out of personalized ads – Use your device's ad settings (e.g. Android: Settings → Google → Ads) to limit ad personalization.
Clear app data – You can clear the App's data (including history) in your device's application settings.
Uninstall – Uninstalling the App removes all local data associated with it.
